Coming together as a Thame church family

A wonderful time of celebration and fun

Around 250 people, young and old, gathered in Lord Williams’s Lower School at the end of July to enjoy a shared time of fun, games, fellowship, worship, and prayer. This was the first event from the new-look Impact Thame, as we start to make an impact for God in our community – together.

As people gathered in the afternoon, despite a short-sharp rain shower, there was time for the kids to enjoy the bouncy castle whilst the grown-ups caught up with one another ahead of the summer holidays.

Worship and prayer

We then came together for a time of all-age worship, singing well-known songs (with actions!), prayer, and an introduction to Impact Thame’s vision for our community.

Fun and fellowship

This was followed by an extended time of tea, cake, chat and a choice of varied activities, including bouncy castle, games, an optional prayer space, and board games.
